African Story Development

RESIDENCIES & WORKSHOPS

Nurturing the next wave of African Storytellers

At Seismic Media, we recognize the untapped potential and the rich tapestry of stories waiting to be told across the African continent. Our Story Development Residencies and Workshops are designed to unearth, nurture, and amplify these voices.

Our Approach

Immersive Learning

Participants are plunged into a hands-on learning environment, guided by industry veterans. From conceptualization to final draft, every stage of the storytelling process is covered.

Diverse Genres

Storytelling is vast and varied. We embrace multiple genres, ensuring that every narrative finds its unique voice and space.

Networking & Collaboration

Beyond skills, we foster connections. Engage with fellow storytellers, industry professionals, and potential collaborators, building a network that lasts beyond the workshop.

Mentorship & Guidance

Our mentors, with years of multi-genre experience, provide insights, feedback, and continuous support, ensuring each story reaches its fullest potential.

Our Impact

Stories crafted in our residencies and workshops don't just stay on paper. They come alive, reaching audiences across South Africa, the African continent, and beyond. By nurturing storytellers today, we're shaping the entertainment landscape of tomorrow.
